I'm turning 17 in December, and I have no idea what to do for my party. Originally, I wasn't going to even have one, but all my friends insisted, so I didn't even start planning until about 2 days ago. I'm only having a small party, with about 5 boys and 5 girls.
Since your birthday falls in Dec., why not have a holiday theme party. For example, your guests could all come dressed like one of the characters from How The Grinch Stole Christmas. You could have food and watch the movie The Grinch. (10/07/2008)

What about some sort of game tournament? Some of the kids in our school are big fans of Monopoly or Clue, or Trivial Pursuit, or some sort of card game, such as Hearts. You could set up tables, form teams, winners play winners, and so on. Some sort of great food that kids love - Pizza? Build your own subs? An ice cream sundae bar? Bonfire and wiener roast for the young people. (10/09/2008)

Have a grown up party. Adults don't play kissy games either. So I think if you keep this in mind while planning your party, I think it will help you.
In the future, you might want to think of asserting yourself and not succumbing to to what your friends want over what your wishes are. After all it's YOUR BIRTHDAY (SMILE). (10/10/2008)

Find a really sweet space (like a meeting room in a hotel, etc.) and set it up like a casino. Have your parents or older people you know that wouldn't embarrass you come and be at each table dealing and what not, have others going around serving drinks. Make sure you have lots of music and food. Give each of the guests their "casino cash"...what ever you choose that to be, in an envelope with their invitations, or hand it out at the door. There are several games to play such as Pass the Orange (neck to neck), Pop the Balloon (belly to belly), Pass the Life Saver (on toothpicks in your mouth). Another idea would be a murder mystery Clue role play game. Have a blast! (10/11/2008)

I'm having a princess party with the boys and girls dressing up as my servants. They do whatever I say for 17 hours because I'm turning seventeen. It's going to be fab. (11/02/2008)

My parents rented a limo for the whole night and I had 8 of my best friends, it was a formal party, everyone wore black and I wore a red dress. We got picked up at my house by the limo and went out to this fancy restaurant and then, we went clubbing. Then back to my house and a couple of girls slept over. It was a good time, and worth the money. (11/24/2008)

I'm having a 17th with quite a few people but nothing big. My 16th was big. I was thinking a movie but there's none that I want to see, any ideas? I'm planning on this a week from today, December 13th. (12/06/2008)

Hi my name is Brian and I'm stuck on thinking about ideas for my 17th, which falls on the 17th of December :O But some of my suggestions are: make the party a FUN party! Be the life of it, don't let boredom overtake your guests, set up things that are entertaining such as movies, games, food. Whatever else you can add on to that would be great. (12/09/2008)

It's my birthday in two weeks exactly, and I'm planning something for my seventeenth. I don't want it to cost a lot but to still be entertaining.
I'm thinking of maybe all dressing up in hot pants and legwarmers and going to a roller skating rink. Or as it's nearly Christmas, go to an ice rink. I'm not sure what we can do after but hopefully it will be fun. (12/10/2008)
