I was getting ants around their food dishes. I read somewhere to put vinegar on cotton balls and place them around the food bowls (under food mat edges, etc.). Bingo no ants and pet safe!

I use a small plate just a little larger than the pet food dish with a little water and a drop of liquid soap. The adults dont cross the soapy water. I also use a little dish with soapy water under the nightlight. Fleas And other bugs in the in the soapy water.
