Making a Painted Wire Flower?

I can't seem to get the glue to set or drip inside the pedal.

You need a special glue that will stick to metal. Gorilla Glue makes a variety that does.

You will need thick glue like wood glue. Here are some I made:

I attended a craft making class at our local junior college and they made these almost exactly like Attosa's link and we used Gorilla Wood Glue.

Not every petal was a success but with a little practice it worked and some really pretty bouquets were made. Attosa's link is great and has very clear instructions.
