Paper Plate Puffer Fish
The kids saw a puffer fish in a book we read then they blurted out they both wanted a puffer fish. They have really been into fishes lately. I compromised and we were able to make a puffer fish in terms of a craft.
Note: I'd recommend hanging this artwork up high though as the toothpicks are pointy.
Total Time: 20 minutes
- paper plate
- hot glue
- googly eyes
- construction paper
- Freehand and cut out 2 fish fins. Tape fins on back of paper plate.
- With the face up on the paper plate, hot glue on the goggly eyes.
- With supervision, dab areas of hot glue and allow your child to stick on toothpicks.
