Paper Plate Puffer Fish

The kids saw a puffer fish in a book we read then they blurted out they both wanted a puffer fish. They have really been into fishes lately. I compromised and we were able to make a puffer fish in terms of a craft.

Note: I'd recommend hanging this artwork up high though as the toothpicks are pointy.

Total Time: 20 minutes

Supplies:

Steps:

  1. Freehand and cut out 2 fish fins. Tape fins on back of paper plate.
  2. With the face up on the paper plate, hot glue on the goggly eyes.
  3. With supervision, dab areas of hot glue and allow your child to stick on toothpicks.
