Quick Pickled Cucumbers
Very easy to make, refreshing to eat and pairs perfectly as a side dish to your main meal.
Prep Time: 5-10 minutes
Cook Time: Marinate in the fridge for at least 24 hours
Total Time: Ready to eat in 24 hours minimum
Yield: 2-3 cucumbers
- 3 Persian cucumbers
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 Tbsp sesame
- Wash and slice cucumbers.
- Put your sliced cucumbers in a bowl and add salt. Mix the salt around coating the cucumbers. Then rinse out the salt.
- In the same bowl, add sesame, sugar, and rice vinegar and throughly mix.
- Transfer into glass gar and allow to marinate (pickling process) in the fridge for at least 24 hours. Depending how pickled you'd like you can wait longer.
