I'm trying to get sharpie out of my shirt. it's 90% cotton and 10% polyester.

Try cheap hairspray. I have used it on permanent stuff on clothes, walls, and varnished furniture. (07/30/2005)

Just tried hairspray on a sharpie stain on my shirt and it definitely lightened the stain a whole lot! It isn't completely gone though...(04/15/2006)
