Stain Remover For Tough Baby Stains

To remove tough baby stains, mix equal amounts of Dawn dish soap and liquid dishwashing detergent together in a squirt bottle. Apply directly to stain and wash as normal. Saves lots of baby clothes!

That is a great solution. I could not get the poop stain off the new white pants I just put on him for the first time. I tried over the counter stain removers and soaking, but they did not work.

This made the stain come completely out. Thank you!

What is the difference between Dawn dish soap and liquid dishwashing detergent?

Liquid dishwashing detergent is usually designed for the dishwasher. It contains bleach. The traditional Dawn (blue) is supposed to be very gentle and contains no ammonia or bleach. I think that any basic dish soap would work about the same for removing stains.

You might also try hydrogen peroxide. It is good for blood stains and might work for your other "baby" stains.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
