Stop Hot Glue from Slipping Off Table

I use hot glue frequently for crafts. One of my biggest annoyances is that the hot glue always slips off the table because the cord is too short.

My tip is to use a standard cheap extension cord (less than $2) then attach your hot glue to that. Also, I wrap the cord on my chair to prevent my hot glue from sliding/falling off the table.
