ThriftyFun Staff Spotlight: Barbara

ThriftyFun Staff Spotlight: Barbara

Each Friday, we are going to be spotlighting a different staff member to introduce them to the ThriftyFun community. This week, we are featuring Barbara.

Barbara began working for ThriftyFun in December 2008. She works on moderating questions posted by users. She enjoys reading all of the recipes, crafts and tips submitted to ThriftyFun. Barabara says: "One of my favorite aspects of the ThriftyFun site content is the varied posts dealing with recycling and reusing, whether it is in crafting, decorating or other daily uses."

Barbara has a background in Anthropology and has done archeological field work. She currently enjoys quilting, gardening and cooking. She splits her time between Oregon and Washington with her husband Bruce and their two pets. In Washington, she is able to spend time with her daughter Laurel and two grandchildren. In Oregon, she is working on renovating their 1946 Cape Cod home. They are making their home more energy efficient and rejuvenating their yard with native, eco-friendly plants.
