Transporting Cooked Turkey

If you must transport your turkey, it can be cooked the day before. When done, let it cool, absorbing the juices. Then carve, laying a bed of any lettuce, a layer of sliced turkey and so on, in a dish. Put a layer of lettuce on the top and put in fridge.

When traveling, be sure to keep in cooler with ice. Arrive and put in over at 350 degrees F for 20 to 30 min. When heated, place turkey on platter and discard lettuce. Serve.
