This is a nice and light way to make fruit salad. The honey-yogurt dressing is awesome. You can add or omit any fruit your family likes.



Combine all fruit in a medium size bowl. In a small bowl. mix together the salad dressing, yogurt, and honey. Pour over fruit and gently toss together. Refrigerate for 2 hours or longer but not recommended overnight as the honey-yogurt sauce breaks down.

If you prefer, you can also add toasted nuts right before serving.

I love this fruit salad recipe, especially the mandarin oranges in it.


  • 2 (8 oz.) cartons orange yogurt
  • 1/3 cup Miracle Whip
  • Ad

  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
  • 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
  • 1 (16 oz.)can sweet cherries
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows


Drain fruit well. Mix yogurt and salad dressing. Mix in rest of ingredients. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or longer.

Servings: 8

  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
  • 1/4 tsp. grated orange peel
  • 2 Tbsp. orange juice
  • 5 cups assorted cut-up fresh fruit


Mix yogurt, mayonnaise, orange peel and orange juice in large bowl. Gently stir in fruit. 8 servings.

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. apricot preserves or orange marmalade
  • 1/4 tsp. poppy seeds
  • 1 small pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into wedges

  • 1 mango or papaya, peeled, seeded and sliced (about 1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 medium banana, sliced (about 3/4 cup)
  • 2 kiwifruit, peeled, sliced (about 2/3 cup)
  • 1/2 cup seedless red grapes
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut, toasted if desired*


In small bowl, mix dressing ingredients.

On serving platter, arrange fruit in decorative pattern; sprinkle with coconut. Drizzle dressing over salad.

Dip bananas, apple, and pear in lemon juice; drain. Combine with orange sections in glass bowl. Chill for 1 hour. Fold in coconut and yogurt.
