Keep Peas Green
Add three or four drops of vinegar while cooking green peas if you want them to retain their natural green color. You can also use lemon juice. Mom only did the fresh, home grown, peas. I do not think it would work for the store bought cans!

A refreshing not too sweet salad with crunch, one of my favorites! Bring the juice from the mandarin oranges and enough water to make one cup to a boil. Mix with Jell-O. Add softened cream cheese and mix until dissolved
