Our Leonberger Jake on his second birthday. Jake was born with severe hip dysplasia and had two major operations a year ago to reseat his hip joints. Without them he would have been dead by now - unable to get up. As you can see he is a happy happy fellow, full of fun.

This beautiful boy is a credit to you and a typical examlpe why registered breeders should screen their breeding stock for HD but he certainly "fell on his paws" when he became your family member. The breed are renowned for their herding ability. That face said it all.
