Take Outdoor Photos On Cloudy Days

An excellent published professional photographer once told me that it's often best to do outdoor photography on cloudy days. Colors of flowers and leaves look much more vibrant on overcast days and there are fewer shadows to deal with.

Something about the colour grey makes other colours just 'pop'. I've been repainting the interior of our house and had a bit of a fight with my husband because I wanted to use grey as our neutral colour.

He's changed his mind after seeing how much more welcoming the powder room looks with the pale grey walls and the autumn colour accents!
