Reusing Clothing as Pajamas or Loungewear

When I have comfortable clothing that is showing some wear, and too shabby looking for public appearances (pilling, fading, etc.) I give those items a new use as pajamas and/or loungewear.

I buy soft sheets from Value village and my mother in law makes nightgowns for my sensory disordered granddaughter so far it has worked great.

I use the 1980's type of elastic waist lightweight pants and old T-shirts for PJ's. Remember those old pants that have the built in strap that goes under your foot?

(stretchy material.) Also, I have been thinking about cutting some of them to fit just above the knee for under my skirts.

I do the same thing; who, other than your family sees you in your night clothes and when our home caught on fire. I was already dressed and able to get out without hunting for a robe!
