Lemons on Tree Not Ripening?

I have a small lemon tree with fruit that has not ripened. How long does it take for lemon fruit to ripen?

Hardiness Zone: 6a

We had one in our Az yard. It would bloom in Feb/Mar and the fruit would start getting yellow around Dec. So its too soon. Good luck.

My Meyer lemons are ripening now, but not ripe enough to use yet.
