Hot Dog Cheesies

The kids and grandkids love these! I know my grandson does! So easy to make and they enjoy helping to make them.

  • 2 cup boiling water
  • Ad

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 slices bread
  • soft butter
  • mustard
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter

Drop hot dogs into boiling water and lower heat. Cover and simmer 5-8 minutes.

Spread one side of bread with butter and mustard. Place on baking sheet. Top each slice with American cheese and a hot dog. Fold over to make a triangle shape. Fasten with wooden picks.

Melt butter in small pan over low heat. Brush each triangle with butter. Set oven at broil. Broil sandwiches with tops 4-5 inches from heat for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
