Real Estate Tip - A Thorough Walk Through

When thinking of purchasing a previously owned home, when doing a "walk through", you might want to move certain items that are strategically placed (ex. a big flower pot, a picture on the wall, prepacked boxes, etc.) to make sure the house is in as good of shape as it looks.

I know a couple who went for their "walk through" of their soon to be new home, who didn't do a very thorough looking around, that sure wished they had before signing on the dotted line. When the old owners moved out completely, there were holes in the walls, in several rooms, holes in the carpet, you can imagine.

They were sick to their stomachs, as not only did they have a "new" home, but they soon had to replace all the carpeting and have someone in to fix the walls, more out of pocket expenses than they'd thought they'd have. Just beware!
