Grilled P.B.J. Sammie

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 846 Posts

Here's a fun one! Be sure to let the sandwich cool for a minute before biting in to it so the oozy gooey center doesn't burn your mouth. You might want to have a napkin available too.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp. butter, softened, or mayonnaise
  • 2 slices white bread
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut butter, smooth or chunky
  • 2 Tbsp. jelly or jam, flavor of choice

Directions:

Spread butter or mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Spread peanut butter on un-buttered side of one slice of bread and jelly on the other. Place peanut butter side of bread on top of the jelly side of bread.

Place sandwich in a medium heat preheated skillet or on a medium preheated grill. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes on each side or until both sides are golden brown and heated through.
