What fish can clean the aquarium floor and coexist with large cichlids?

The problem is, cichlids are a very aggressive fish. So any other fish you get, the will attack it. You may want to try a crab. There are some freshwater species that clean, and they have shells that protect them from the cichlids. But the best option would probably be an additive you can put in the water to stunt the growth of the algae.
