Cranberry Apple Salad
- 1 lb. cranberries
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 orange with rind
- 2 apples, chopped
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 2 boxes lemon gelatin (regular size)
Grind cranberries. Pour 1 1/2 cup boiling water over cranberries. Stir and drain at once. Add sugar to cranberries and let stand. Grind orange and rind and add apples and finely chopped celery and nuts to cranberries. Let stand 2-3 hours. Add mixture to semi-set gelatin. Let set overnight.
