Baby powder (or talcum powder in desired scent) and a soft brush. I can't use anything that is scented, not even the baby powder, so I use baking soda.

Dust it with powder, rub it in gently with a dry cloth, let it set a bit to absorb any oils. Then begin brushing it, gently, till all the powder is gone.
Repeat as needed. Some spots you can't see till you brush away the powder.
For really heavily soiled areas you can use an eraser first then finish with the powder.
