Social Security and Child Support?

I was recently awarded SSI and so my 8 year old son also was awarded money per month. His father pays child support through the child law enforcement system. I was supposed to take him back to court for more child support because his other daughter from another marriage turned 18. Will my son lose his child support that I think is still a father's duty?

He hardly sees his dad and it's less than $70 a week. He tried to get it cut in half last year, but that didn't go over to big with the judge. Father of the year material right here people. We do get along great for our son though.
