Spanish Rice

All the flavors mix together and just work.


  • 1/2 lb. of bacon, cut into bite size pieces.
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • Ad
  • 1 large onion
  • 8 cloves of garlic, optional
  • 1 (a5 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cups of brown rice (white works too)


Cook bacon until done. Remove and drain. Saute onion, peppers, and garlic. When browned, add the rice. Brown for a couple minutes, then add bacon, can of tomatoes, and three cans of water for rice, (sometimes I subsitute V8 for 1 can of water). Let the rice simmer until cooked.


Servings: 6 - 8
Time:25 Minutes Preparation Time
45 Minutes Cooking Time
