As attosa says, you have a Chinese Lantern plant and these are usually grown outside so I'm not sure how well it will do as an inside plant.

Very important that you realize this a poisonous plant and should not be available to pets or children. It is also called an invasive plant but it can be controlled. This plant cannot be sold in every state due to the rating of "invasive".

We have looked into both the Chinese lantern and the lipstick plant and we do not believe it is either of those. It does resemble the Chinese lantern but I found none that sprouted like this one does.
