Zippo lighters are not disposable so it is important to care for them properly. Cleaning your Zippo lighter will help keep it working well for many years. This is a guide to cleaning a Zippo lighter.
I have owned an original Zippo lighter for the last five to six years. For the last few months I am facing a unique problem. The fuel does not last for more than 2 days after refueling. Kindly suggest what could be the problem behind this?

The sponge that holds the fuel is no longer absorbent. These lighters are guaranteed for life so you can send it back and they will fix it. All you have to do is mail it to the factory which is in the United States. Tell them the problem and make sure they have your address and phone number. There is no charge. But also it could be a good time to stop smoking. I am sure you can find the address to send the lighter on the internet or at a store that sells them.
