Organizing Your Meals

A great way to keep organized, save time and money! Simply choose a day of the week to do your organizing. Get five to seven small totes to keep in the pantry. Make a simple menu for the week. Gather ingredients for particular day and put in totes.

This way you stay organized and when you get home from work, you can just grab your tote of ingredients, throw them together and dinner is done. No more waiting until the last minute to figure out what's for dinner! This has been a great money and time saver for our family.

Tip: Organizing Your Meals

Plan, and write down menus for all three meals of each day for each week. This allows for shopping only once a week, to use things on sale this week, and saves that 5:00 panic- What are we going to eat? It has also cut down on whining from my children, as I just say, on the menu is ... so they cannot argue with the menu.
