With gasoline prices so high, a couple we know tries to make several of their doctors' visits all in one day. They always carry the other doctor's phone numbers, so they can call if they are going to be late and need to reschedule. The doctor's office staff will usually work them in, if they arrive late or too early, since they're from out of town.
