Belle Button is a 4 year old Pit Bull. I got Belle as a rescue at 4 weeks old from a raid at a house that bred dogs for fighting.
She likes to play with tennis balls, stuffed toys, squeakers, and go swimming. She is the smartest dog I have ever owned. She learns really fast and is very obedient.
Those eyes are incredible. What a sweetie. Pits get a bad rap. It is never the dog--always the people. It's a phase like breeds that were banned in the past. Breed bans never work because it is never the dog. Amazing how once you are a pit owner you really get hooked. Awesome dogs. One just saved my best friend. She was at state park alone with her dog. Stalked--Man got naked at least 5 times. Dog (pit) about 50 feet away but not seen. Man came to my friend and Otis never bit him, just pushed him in the chest. No one should try anything like that with Otis around. Your dog would do the same. She is a family member. Hugs,
What a beauty she is! Pit bulls are usually such wonderfully friendly dogs. Lets all speak out about not banning the breed. Owners have to make sure these "gladiator" type breads are successfully socialized. If they are, they're some of the best family pets around.
