A different slant on ham salad.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cup diced cooked ham
- 1 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 cup cooked diced potatoes
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, diced
Directions:
Cook onions, green peppers and ham in fat, stirring until meat is lightly browned and veggies are tender. Add potatoes, salt and pepper and mayonnaise. Heat, mixing lightly. Stir in cheese. Heat just until cheese begins to melt.
