Reuben Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 oz. pastrami, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Russian dressing
  • 1/2 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 1 package Swiss cheese, shredded

Directions

Heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Unroll the pizza dough and lay the pastrami on top of the dough, leaving 1/2 inch border around the edges. Spread the Russian dressing over the pastrami and spread the sauerkraut over each pastrami slice. Sprinkle with Swiss cheese and roll up, from the long side, and pinch together to seal the seams of dough. Place, seam side down, on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the bottom third of the oven for 20-23 minutes or until golden brown. Slice crosswise into quarters and serve.

Robin, have you ever used these for appetizers by slicing the roll? Sounds really good!
