Sausage Gravy

This is a favorite of my husband's, but I must confess, I really don't care for it myself. He loves this over biscuits!

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices sausage
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups milk

Directions:

Fry about 8 slices of sausage, crumbled. When the sausage is done, mix in the flour and let brown. Add milk mixture. Stir until desired thickness. Add salt and pepper to taste.

And just a bit of butter :) You can also make it with hamburger or a mix of both meats. This is my father's favorite breakfast on toast.

They serve this at Hardees as well, very inexpensive breakfast. They also have the gravy on basically small tater tots with cheddar cheese but I haven't tried this yet.
