Fruit Smoothie

It's fresh, quick, and easy

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup blueberries
  • 1/3 cup raspberries
  • 1/3 cup cherries
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 3 ice cubes

Directions:

Put ice cubes and milk in blender and set to crush. Once ice is crushed, add fruit and blend until smooth; about 3 minutes. I rotate fruit. I try to use fresh or frozen, but sometimes use canned. I have also used watermelon and cantaloupe. This makes one 16-18oz. glass.

RE: Fruit Smoothie

I don't care what anyone says, my Magic Bullet is worth every penny, I swear. I LOVE it. So handy. I do this: frozen bananas (peeled first of course), frozen peaches (bought in bulk), frozen cantaloupe (in season), plain yogurt (all flavored yogurts have sugar in them), stevia powder (in spices jars at the natural food store) and a few drops of real vanilla. My kids love my smoothies. My friends love my smoothies. I also do coffee drinks in my Magic Bullet, much cheaper than at the expensive coffeehouse. (08/21/2008)
