RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
I am not a sales person I am a Medical Biller that lives in Sacramento, CA I work in a small doctors office. I am not in sales never have been. I have to say I feel sorry for those of you that didn't get what you were promised but I did receive my 42 plasma and home theater system June 2005 after a little hassle it took three months but I did receive it. I received an email from Digital Now, looked into the company and posted the first blog on this site to see if anyone else had heard of them.
I had no bad replies so I went for it and obviously got lucky so get it right don't hate I was one of the first people to get the emails and replied there are other that did get refunds so check your facts! PS I love my Plasma and Home theater System it's working just fine!

I know that there has not been a feedback to this post since 11/17/05 but I just had to post feedback when I read these posts. This is a scam! Do not buy anything from these people...Irene is a mole for them. I was scammed by them just as probably lots of others. Go to http://www.ripoff.com and you will see about 40 posts where people were scammed. They make it sound good and this Irene is just a part of it. If you read her posts carefully you will see she is part of the scam. This is not a real company! They are professional scam artists so be careful. I can not stress enough. Please send no money to these people no matter what they promise.

I too, have been lied to and cheated by Digitalnow.tv. Once they have your payment, they dissapear. You are unable to reach them by phone, or e-mail. I have filed a complaint with the FBI Internet Fraud Dept., The Deleware BBB, and with eBay. If there is anyone out there who has received their merchandise as promised, I would definitely like to know HOW?

Well guess what folks...I too got cheated by these guys! I wished I would have checked this website out FIRST before "ordering" (http://www.ripoffreport.com). It was a lesson learned! I must say that they seemed legit even down to the contract that was sent to me. I filed a report with the BBB and I suggest everyone else do the same. I'll never see my deposit from them so I will gracefully take it and NEVER allow myself to be sucked into something that appears too good to be true.

I don't normally purchase anything online but I spoke with people several times before giving them the deposit. I was suppose to recieve the television on 8-05-05 and now I can't get through. I will complain to the state and the BBB as well.(

I haven't been able to reach anyone at 888-411-2791 nor 800-756-0690 since Monday. I was supposed to get my TV on yesterday (8/10/05), but it never showed up. When I spoke to someone on Monday, she ensured me that they would call if it wouldn't be delivered on time and that no call meant everything was fine. I have been on hold as long as 1 1/2 hrs before I just gave up and hung up. This is ridiculous, I would advise you NOT to order anything from them. I sent 4 emails to various addresses for them. I wonder if they're even going to respond via email. Is there anyone out there that's actually received their TV? I know people have gotten refunds. Thanks,

ttbird, Start with my post below and the BBB. I had no action taken until I reported them to the BBB. You can do it online and they, (BBB) will contact them for you. That is the best I could suggest. A business such as this, in my opinion, should not be in business. Taking advantage of people as they do is just wrong. I for one, even though I got my money back, will not sit back and let places like this continue if I have anything that I can do to stop it.

I should've known it was too good to be true! I initiated my order the beginning of July and it's now 8/4 and I have been getting the run-around. My delivery date was moved from 8/22-8/27 because of an internal error. Althought I was promised that I'd receive a call on 8/20 to confirm delivery date, nothing has been done at all! I have numerous calls and was given the same "rehearsed alibi": (There's a delay in delivery, due to the hurricane, high demand, we have your information, we'll forward it, someone should give you a call, etc...) To make a long story short, I'm still holding my breath but thanks to this website-I will cancel my order immediately! Digitalnow.tv SUCKS!!!!

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
They took my money 3 days after I applied. It took 4 missed promise dates, tens of phone calls (mostly unanswered voice mail). 3 months total to get my money back. Not to mention the agony of going through it all.
I suppose they "may" have delivered on some systems, but I am glad I finally got this settled. Remember, your down payment added to others who send in their down payment, are in fact buying systems for other people who have been waiting for who knows how long. They "STOCK" Nothing!!!

I visited their website and applied for a TV prior to checking these posts. When do they actually charge you for the downpayment. I'm rethinking about purchashing from them. Are there anyone else that is satisfied with their purchase?

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
Stacey, I also had to make "hard" calls to get a response. I did report to the BBB and believe that is the best way to handle this. While they may me stuggling to grow, I find the mis-leading adds and "in-stock" statements dead wrong. I did get my refund, but only after reporting and losing my cool. Word to all, while they may deliver on some of the contracts, it appears there is much more bad than good.

This place is a complete fraud. I too, like many of you, paid my downpayment in good faith, but never got my TV and had difficulty getting a hold of anyone. I sent the CEO Nils Hamsa nilshamsa@digitalnow.tv an email and let him know that I filed a complaint against the company with the BBB, but that I was also an Internet Marketing Executive and that I planned on making it known about his fraudulent company to my contacts in the industry. Funny, that the same day I got a call about my refund.

Good for you! I am still in Process. As for cutting them a break? I can't! They may care about their business but they should not be advertising "In-Stock" products when they really don't stock at all!. This is mis-leading, mis-informing and wrong. If they have stock, why have I been dealing with this mess for 3 months? Any way, unless they give me a free LG, they will not get any good news out of me. This has been time consuming, frustrating, disappointing and very upsetting to my kids. They were excited and patient for along time before we found DigitalNow.tv, and they let them down as well. I will forgive, but will not forget the poor Customer Service, the un answered calls, the false delivery dates (more than once) . Right now I just hope I get my money back.

I highly recomend you DO NOT get involved with these people. I can not figure out how they can even continue to be in Business. They are a Fraud! Actually, I am going to call them again about my money return..... That is, I will leave another message because they don't answer. BTW Extension 704 is the guy to scream at..

Here is a copy of the bad check that DigitalNow.tv sent to me!
Is that an example of a company that prides itself in customer service?
Posted on 07/01/2005 | Report Spam or Abuse

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
While they say that they pride themselves in customer service, they still have not issued me a refund or responded to my request work out a solution.
It is not about pleasing me as a customer. It is about the fact that DigitalNow.tv took my money and did not deliver the system that was agreed upon in a written contract.
Where is the Theater System that you promised to deliver? Where is my money? I guess it is unfortunate that some customers cannot expect to get a product or a refund 100% of the time after they pay you their hard earned cash. It is nothing more than petty theft. DigitalNow.tv stole $300 from me. Do you want to take that chance?
Buyer beware!

We here at Digitalnow.tv pride ourselves in customer service. We cannot deny that we have had a small number of customers that had a less than perfect experience with our service. However, we assure you that we provide products that satisfy many customers whom also refer their family and friends. In todays world it's unfortunate that companies cannot please 100% of their customers a 100% of the time.

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
I ordered a 42" Plasma TV from DigitalNow.tv and sent them a $300 deposit March 2005. They did not deliver and they did not return my deposit.
The refund check that DigitalNow.tv sent me for the system that their company could not deliver was returned to me for "insufficient funds". DigitalNow.tv promised to send me a cashier's check for the amount due. Now they won't answer their phones or respond to emails.
I incurred about $100 in banking fees from the cascading effect of their check being bad. First the bank charges me $30 for submitting a bad check and then $29 for each of my checks that did not clear because the money was not there. It took the bank 10 business days to figure out that the check was bad. By then I assumed the check was good.
Buyer beware!

I know you aren't trying to sell it to anyone Irene. I just wanted to make the interest rate clear to everyone else who reads this because it adds considerable to the total cost of purchase. Anything with a 20% interest rate is not a good deal. It is good to hear that you received the merchandise and are happy with it.

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
That's fine & each individuals choice as I am not trying to encourage anyone to buy anything!!! I originally posted an inquiry about this company to see if anyone else had ever heard of or dealt with them prior to my purchase, that's it! I am happy with my Plasma & if Plasma's not for you don't get one! I really don't care as I am not a salesperson but for those of you who are interested I think this is a great deal & well worth looking into. Yes, everyone knows anything from TV's to Cars are cheaper in price as time goes on if you want to wait. So, if your not looking for a Plasma don't or you would rather save the money to purchase one that's up to each individual. This is just info I chose to share with those who may not want to wait, want a plasma or LCD & can afford the monthly payment. Just sharing , not encouraging there is a difference!

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
It's not thrifty, though. Not many people will be able to pay it off during the "same as cash" time frame, so they will end up paying 20% interest over the course of the loan. You are much better off saving your money... the payments are 150 to 180. Put that money in the bank for a while, in no time you will have enough money to purchase a nice entertainment system. The costs of all the newer TVs go down every year.
I wouldn't encourage people to buy a plasma TV to begin with. There are large TVs without the plasma technology that look just as good for much cheaper. Not trying to burst anyone's bubble, but any deal that has a 20% interest should be avoided. The goal of this site is helping people eliminate debt and stay out of debt.

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
But, they have 6 month's same as cash if you pay it off sooner you won't be charged the finance fee, The price of the system I have is the same at Circuit City for the same TV without a DVD, Hometheater or XBOX!!! You are financing your purchase with all credit there are intrest charges. If you can afford to pay all at once theres no need to finance, most people can't! I feel it's not bad, unlike rent a center where you end up paying two to three times what the product is worth!

keep in mind that they have a 19.75 % APR. finance charge, which is extremely high.

This is not a scam, they are two years old fastly growing & the only company I know of offering a payment plan for a Plasma Tv system. Everyone I have spoke to from the Customer Service Dept to Financing are very nice answering all my questions. I checked them out they have no complaints , I am very satisfied with my Plasma :) If it wasn't for DigitalNow.Tv I would not have a plasma as I can't afford to spend the cash all at once. I am the person who posted the Original Post about DigitalNow.TV & They are a reputable company. A few days after my post I recieved my Plasma and I am very happy with it!!! I would recommend this company to anyone who would like a nice LCD or Plasma Home Theater system you can make small monthly payments instead of forking out Thousands in cash or charging it. The System I got was an LG 42" with a DVD Player, Home Theater system & an Xbox . This same TV is being sold at Circuit City for the same price but you only get the TV!! Check em out !!!

RE: Shopping On-Line - DigitalNow.TV
If you need to buy on credit try a reputable source like a bank or credit union rather than someone trying to sell you something, and compare interest rates - I would guess the interest rates will not be very competetive! If you already have the loan arranged you can shop around for the best price - if the seller is arranging the credit you have to accept their price and their interest rate. So called 'interest free' repayments for goods usually have the interest built into the price - there's no such thing as a free lunch, (in business anyway!)

There is a great website called www.ripoffreport.com that you can use to find out just about anything in the way of complaints against a business. It is a great place to learn if a business or product has a lot of complaints about them, and you can also file a complaint against a company. Best of all, it's free! Hope this helps a little
