Baby wipes! Very often they work great, and they take marker off little hands, too.

Ditto on the magic eraser. My grandbaby wrote in ink all over the table and chairs and even on the dog!! You know she wasn't on my watch!!! The Magic Eraser got everything off good as new!

make a paste with baking soda & water - or just wet a wash cloth corner & dip into baking soda - rub along marker, crayon, makeup & unknown items (experience).....it takes a bit of elbow grease sometimes esp for crayon but it will take it off.
