Got a dark spot the front of a light beige pair of summer shoes and that sort of shoe polish is out there, but so hard to find! So I experimented with a small dab of white liquid paper, which I rubbed in with my finger and it worked! Sometimes when you have spots, you just have to cover them up.

I've touched up many a pair of black shoes with a Sharpie.
