Cleaning a Coffee Urn |
|
|
I need natural cleaning solutions (homemade) for cleaning out a coffee urn. It is stained all brown and looks yucky.

Melody I use BakingSoda and a bottle brush and it not only cleans the oil out but leaves a nice clean taste to the coffee.

it is not exactly natural but with my electric percolators i use Automatic Dishwasher detergent and let it perk through a cycle then rinse very very well, makes it shine like new money

throw a few pennies in the urn with some soda.. the swishing of the copper pennies and the soda should make it sparkle again

Have you tried using very hot water and table salt ? Just put the water and salt in in the urn and swish it around. It may take a few tries. You can try the hot water and baking soda also.
