Peanut Butter and Onion Sandwich

This is DH favorite sandwich from his childhood. He still eats them when the urge hits him, like last week.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Slices bread
  • enough peanut butter to cover one slice
  • mayonnaise for the other
  • large thick slice of mild sweet onion

Directions:

Toast the bread and spread peanut butter on one slice. Put the slice of onion on the peanut butter. Spread a good amount of mayonnaise on the other piece of toast and top off the sandwich.

We did not know all those years he was eating "Heart Right". I can't handle this one with mayonnaise, But the doctor's lettuce, onion and peanut butter was tasty.

Servings: One
Time:A few Minutes Preparation Time
No Minutes Cooking Time

Source: His idea, I have seen him even order it at coffee shops like Dennys. Sometimes he gets one sometimes not. Some don't know how to charge for it. He tells them to charge the same for a peanut butter and jelly only leave off the jelly and add the onion. LOL
