RE: Christmas Basket for a Pasta Addict
I did a very similar basket for my mother-in-law one year, who loves soups. I bought various flavors of bouillon, packages of noodles, some herbs and spices that I knew she loved in her soups and a soup cookbook.
An addition to the pasta basket, is buy an inexpensive collander (they have to strain their pasta) and load everything into the collander.
