Bandit is a 10 yr.old Lhasa Apso that I got on Feb. 14, 1995.

He likes to lay on his back and put his feet straight up in the air and scratch and wiggle on the carpet. He is so funny.

Your stories are all wonderful to read, I to have a beautiful little girl called misi-moo who I love to bits and spoil rotten she is going to be 4 in may. When I 1st got misi she started to lose her breath an gasp it only lasted for a few seconds at a time but long enough to worry the life out of me.

This didn't last long and I haven't had any more attacks for a while up till recently she has been doing this a couple of times a day a friend of mine mentioned that it is a common thing in this breed of dog an so did my vet. Does anyone have any advise for me and misi? Is it worth a second opinion or is this common? xx thank you

please advise xx

We also have a lhasa apso named bandit, He is now 17 years old has heart, kidney, liver problems, and seizures. He is on medications and we found out he now has cancer. He has gone through rectal surgery
and should have died several times, but he keeps bouncing back. Our vet said he only had 3 months to live back in Dec of 2007. Well, he is still here and now the vet says he is a wonder dog. We got him when he was 6 months old along with his brother who passed on at 12 years old, due to kidney failure.

Thats so sweet...I adopted Lacy a little 2 yr old Lhasa Apso about 3 months ago, she was an abused little angel, we brought her into our home and our heart. Lhasa Apso are special little dogs. They can steal your heart with one look from those sweet, big, brown eyes. All they want is for you to love them! As you can see from her smile in this photo she is doing well!

He is adorable. We just got a mix Lhasa Apso and does the same thing your Bandit does. We are an elder couple and this will probably be our last pet. I couldn't belive how our dog looks like yours. Congratulations on your older dog. Enjoy
