Even if you didn't save all your receipts from last year, you still can analyze your expenses and use that information to help save money next year. For example, did you buy a latte every day before work? The average latte costs about three dollars. That works out to $15 per week for a grand total of $780 a year. Switching to drip coffee could save you $390. Even if you can't live without your lattes, maybe there is something else you can forgo next year?

I plan to not buy anymore books or magazines, I will borrow from the library. I will definately stop buying over priced pet "goodies", I have a recipe for homemade dog biscuits and they like mine better anyway. I would LOVE to get rid of cable, but my husband would never survive.
