Lucy is our 8 year old Collie and Shepherd (I think). We adopted her from Animal Rescue in 1998. She likes to lick me all over my face! She has suffered through several health problems but she always pulls through. I think she truly knows how much she is loved and doesn't want to leave us.

Very cute, but collie shepherds are darker. This is mine. I think she is one. :)

You can tell from her face that she is a gentle, sweet dog. I hope you have many more years of those sloppy kisses. Thanks for rescuing!

I can only see her happy face, but she sure looks loved. How 'bout a Golden Retriever mix?? hmmmm........these 'pound puppies' are a puzzle, aren't they?

Isn't she beautiful?!!! I know that your loving care is the reason for her still being around - keep up the good work. I have a 13-year-old pekingnese who's the same way - every day I think is going to be his last, and he just keeps hanging on. I got him after the breeder said he was too old to breed anymore. Unfortunately, the breeder didn't see the need to take care of him, so he's blind and has a bad heart - but he's as sweet and loving as he can be. Treasure every moment you have with Lucy.
