I have an older cat who vomits often on our hardwood floors. Sometimes we do not find these "gifts" until the next day. Is there a way to remove the stains that have soaked into the wood? I've tried a hairdryer, baking soda and currently have toothpaste sitting on them. Any ideas are very welcome!

I don't have wood floors or a cat, but I do know that Mayonnaise will remove an old water stain left on a wood table. I'd say its worth a try. It won't harm a wood table so I would guess it is good enough for a floor.
