I got this from E-Cookbooks sampler CopyKat Recipes
McDonald's Big Mac Sauce
1 cup Miracle Whip
1/3 cup sweet pickle relish
1/3 cup Kraft French Dressing
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 Tablespoons minced onion
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Combine all of the ingredietns together, mixing well. Store refrigerated for several hours to allow the flavors to blend.
i don't usually buy 1000 island dressing, here's an easy substitute:
mayo, ketchup and sweet relish.
if you're feeling extra adventurous, add a couple drops of lemon juice, couple drops of worcestershire, a little brown sugar...
Wow! Someone already beat me to it. I was gonna say the same as everyone else......1000 island dressing.
It may not be exact, but equal parts of ketchup and mayo come pretty darn close.
the Big Mac uses a variant of thousand-island dressing (made from salad oil, orange and lemon juice, minced onion, paprika, Worcestershire sauce (a spicy Indian recipe), dry mustard, parsley, and salt).
From Cooks.com
BIG MAC SAUCE
1 c. Miracle Whip
1/3 c. creamy style French dressing
1/4 c. sweet pickle relish
1 tbsp. saugr
1 tsp. dried minced onion
1/4 tsp. pepper
Blend well with fork and refrigerate overnight. Use on hamburgers. To build a big mac use: 2 all beef patties, sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun.
