Leave a few grocery bags by your door. If you are working outside or forget something you can just slip them over your shoes so you don't have to take them off before walking across the floors and carpets.

Please ladies, be careful with those plastic bags or covers on your feet on a vinyl or carpet floor. They are very slippery and could cause a fall. Please walk slowly in them. Keep those good tips coming.

What a great idea! I had to mop the kitchen just the other day because I had to come in with muddy feet.
Not any more!
Thanks

I use the large bowl covers that have elastic around them (shower caps also work) from the dollar store. That way, the elastic holds them on better and they are reusable.
