Check Your Patio Door Insulation

Poorly insulated patio doors may increase your electric bill, check to see that your doors are properly insulated, especially older sliding doors.

HOW? I can not find any kind of insulation that will work on the patio door frame. The only thing I can come up with is shrink wrap for the entire door. I still want to use the door to get to my back yard.
