Be careful when going to get your mail from your mailbox if you have rural delivery. Now that it's warmer weather, watch out for all those little critters that are trying to find refuge from the sun. Just a few days ago, my husband found a wasp in our mailbox. Look inside to make sure you're not getting more than just your mail, when you put your hand inside.

The Key Deer eat most flowers planted at the base of my mailbox; however, they tend to leave periwinkle, or vinca, alone.

Try spray painting the inside of the box white and put a mirror at the far end of the inside. Your mail carrier will appreciate your efforts to.

This is very true. I have found various spiders.

But, the craziest of all is a gecko!!!!!!!!

My girlfriend leaves a Bounce dryer sheet in her mailbox for the summer to keep the insects out.
