I have Dorothy original curtains. Some cover triple windows. When correcting mistakes and taking the bow off it leaves horrible wrinkles. Rather than taking them down and washing and ironing, I spray with fabric softener water and let hang for 1/2 day. Also after arranging I spray starch on ruffles and they stand out as if I have starched and ironed them.

You can also use your iron without having to take down the curtains. If you have a steamer setting, you just plug it in and pull the curtain out and push the button and "air iron" if you will. Let hang for a minute to cool and refasten. Works with my iron and curtains anyway.
