Lemon Cream Cheese Dessert

Better than lemon meringue pie and easier to make.

Ingredients:

Crust

  • Use your favorite pie crust recipe or ready made crust.

Filling

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz. cream, whipped
  • 2 packages (3.625 oz. each) lemon pudding
  • 1 container Cool Whip*

*Or 1 carton cream whipped with 1 tsp. plain gelatin dissolved in 3 Tbsp. water; add 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions:

Make or use pre-made pie crust. Bake and cool.

Beat cream cheese, lemon juice and powdered sugar. Add whipped cream. Spread onto crust.

Ad

Cook pudding according to directions. Cool. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Spread Cool Whip on top. Refrigerate until needed.

15 Minutes Cooking Time
