Ground Beef Gravy over Mashed Potatoes

This is a good stand-by meal for us, which is easy and fairly quick to fix. Also really good on a cold winter night.

Ingredients:

Ad

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper

Directions:

Brown hamburger meat with salt, pepper, bell pepper, and onion. Don't drain fat; add flour to make paste. Add water to make soupy. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook potatoes as usual.

Servings: 6-8
Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 30 Minutes
